Teachers: Students of all levels and ages are welcome to “compete”. This is a very informal event and is mainly a chance for students to perform in public. All music must be Celtic: Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Breton. Most everyone plays on a lever harp (as this is folk music); and is an opportunity to be introduced to the Celtic style of playing.
All rules can be found at the Scottish Harp Society of America web site. The only difference is that this competition is open to all Celtic music–not just Scottish.
